Anna-Karin Modin Edman is a Sustainability Manager in Arla Foods since 5 years, working with a broad range of issues along the value chain from cow to consumer. Before that, she worked for the Swedish Dairy Association for 5 years, mainly focusing on farm level sustainability performance and lobbying. Anna-Karin has been working with implementing the Dairy Sustainability Framework in Arla and is eager to promote dairy industry collaboration as an active member in the SAI Platform Dairy Working Group. She has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Lund University, focusing on bio-geochemical modelling and system analysis. She strongly believes in further strengthening the many sustainability benefits of dairy production, and on addressing the sustainability challenges in a committed way, for dairy to be part of sustainable food systems and of sustainable diets also for the future.
